SWOT Hospitality announces the donation of equipment from Lindian Village Beach Resort Rhodes, Curio Collection by Hilton, with a generous value of 240,000 euros.

SWOT Hospitality Unveils Exciting Expansion: Introducing Development & Project Management Services

The contribution to society and initiatives that focus on people are an integral part of the philosophy of SWOT Hospitality, the leading hotel management company in Greece. In the broader context of its ESG program for 2023, the company has implemented important actions including the donation of hotel equipment to cover significant needs in Athens' shelters.


Specifically, as part of the renovation of the Lindian Village Beach Resort Rhodes, Curio Collection by Hilton, owned by Zetland Capital and managed by SWOT Hospitality, equipment from the hotel was donated to the Children's Hospital, the Children's Camp of Nea Ionia Metropolis and the Armed Forces, and more specifically to the facilities of the 1st STRATIA/EU-OHQ, the Special Warfare Command (SPC), the Supreme Military Command of the Interior and Islands (ASDEN) and the Supreme Military Command of Army Support (ASDUS), in consultation with the General Staff. The amount of the offer was EUR 240 000.

 

The Chief of the Armed Forces, General Konstantinos Floros, expressed his sincere thanks to SWOT Hospitality for its offer, which covered the operational needs of the Armed Forces.
With regard to the Children's Camp of the Metropolis of Nea Ionia, which is in the process of reconstruction, the company's generous offer covered all the necessary equipment in terms of beds, mattresses and furniture in the twelve buildings of the camp, which cover a total area of 22,000 square metres.

 

In a statement regarding SWOT Hospitality's donation, His Eminence Metropolitan Gabriel of Nea Ionia, Filadelfia, Heraklion and Chalkidonos said: "I would like to express my sincere and grateful thanks for your truly generous offer of a sufficient number of beds, thus contributing significantly to the completion of the reconstruction of an important social project that concerns the children's camps of our Holy Metropolis".

 

The Governor of Aghia Sophia General Hospital, Mr Emmanuel Papasavvas, said of SWOT Hospitality's donation: "We would like to thank SWOT Hospitality for the practical support of the work of our Children's Hospital "Aghia Sophia" through the donation of hotel equipment for our paediatric departments, thus supporting public health".
